There are plenty different names and expressions in use for the same vehicle - our multiple person bicycle. Here are the most popular ones: TeamBike, FunBike, DiscussionBike, C-Bike, GroupBike, BusinessBike, Partybike, FamilyBike, StarBike, Eventbike, big round seven seated bike, 7 person bicycle, CarouselBike as roundabout, circle bike, circular bike or RingBike. The inventor and the producing company refer to it as a ConferenceBike or CoBi. We mostly stick to that expression here in Berlin, but on this site we use any kind of naming to make sure you find what you are looking for:) By the way, the most of our colleagues here in Berlin call it Confi or Confi Bike. Up to seven people can sit and cycle on such a FunBike. The seven ( 7 ) rider seats are arranged in a circle or a star shape, one pilot steers the bike, the others are free to pedal – or not, as the bike moves almost effortless. Everybody sits around a kind of conference table in the middle of the team bicycle, facing each other. That causes plenty communication and fun on such a Berlin FunBike ride.

The seats of the bike are arranged like a star in a circle (big round bicycle)– around a conference table. The pilot steers and breakes the bike and everbody is free to ride. How many people can ride the bike?
The ConferenceBike has 7 seats incuding the pilot seat. The seats do not necessarily have to be all occupied. That means you can go with three or four people easily as well.
What does the FunBike weight?
Approx. 225 kilo – but thanks to its special construction it’s easy to move.
How big is a ConferenceBike?
2,5 x 1,8 x 1,4 m (L x W x H)
How fast can you go with that bike type?
A FunBike or TeamBike it’s no racing bike, but if you ride it relaxed you easily achive 15 - nearly 20 km/h, but of course you could ride it faster if you like to. We already managed a speed around 25 km/h...or even a bit faster. But as we go for a guided bike tour in Berlin the speed should not be the only thing that matters:)
How old do you have to be to ride a ConferenceBike?
We like the pilot to be preferably eighteen years of age. Important is that the drivers can reach easily the pedals or at least are able to hold themselfs on the seats.
